Bronze marker placed by New Orleans Archdiocesan Cemeteries explaining why multiple burial facilities were adopted by immigrants and the fact that this tomb was constructed in the end of the 19th century and restored in 1977 by Alfortish Marble & Granite Co. Gretna Louisiana. Inscription: Sodiedad Cervanted De B. M. Fundada en la Ciudad de Nueva Orleans el dia 23 de Octubre del ano 1887; incorporada el 31 de Julio de 1888. Some of the closure tablets are numbered these being the older ones as follows: 1-4; 8; 9; 10 and 12. The other tablets are newer replacement tablets and are not numbered.
